AustCham TV Returns to Lexicon Studios After Four-Year Hiatus

After a four-year hiatus, AustCham TV is returning.

The format remains the same. Each episode will feature three guests built around the themes of Business, Connections, Community. It is a structure that worked well before and still makes sense now, giving the programme a clear shape while reflecting a broad range of member-focused stories that highlight notable people and companies in the AustCham community.

Since the show last aired, Lexicon has upgraded its Bangkok podcast studio with a modular set, allowing for hundreds of different production styles, alongside the green screen filming capabilities on which the previous iteration of the show was based.

Brendan Cunningham returns as host. Previously, he hosted the show while serving as Executive Director. He now returns as an elected Board Director. Dean Jones will also support hosting duties as the programme resumes.

The first episode arrives at a fitting moment. Lexicon has recently completed a new storytelling-led website for Hellfire Pass, and the programme will feature Mick Clarke, Manager of Hellfire Pass Interpretive Centre, to discuss both the new site and the upcoming ANZAC Day events at the centre.

That makes the first episode a strong example of what AustCham TV does best. It brings together business, relationships, and community through conversations grounded in real projects and real people.

David Norcross said: “AustCham TV works because it gives interesting people a platform to share their stories in a warm and engaging setting. I am glad to be putting energy back into projects like this, especially with Brendan back in the chair and a first episode that has real substance behind it. Having just completed my two elected terms at BCCT, I am now in a position to support the broader business community again.”

He added: “The opening episode sets the tone well. It brings together history, storytelling, and community in a way that fits the programme perfectly. Lexicon has just completed a new storytelling-driven website design and build for Hellfire Pass, and the timing has lined up well with wider media attention in Australia. With ANZAC Day approaching in April, it is a good moment to talk about something that genuinely matters.”

Brendan Cunningham said: “I am very pleased to return as host of AustCham TV. The format is simple, which is one of its strengths. It is also always a pleasure working with the team at Lexicon. They value storytelling and know how important that is when you are trying to break through the noise of B2B communications.”

He added: “What makes this format work is that it gives people room to speak properly. When you have the right setting, the right tone, and the right conversation, you get something more natural and more useful. That is good for the guests, good for the audience, and good for the chamber.”
