David Norcross Appointed Fractional Communications Director at CCE Group

Lexicon CEO David Norcross has been appointed Fractional Communications Director of CCE Group, formalizing the next stage of a long-standing strategic relationship between the two organizations. The arrangements are made under CCE Group’s existing service agreement with Lexicon.

Lexicon has worked with CCE Group since its founding, supporting brand communications and strategic narrative development across the group and its portfolio companies, including Driessen Catering Equipment, AviusULD, and Trip & Co. The collaboration has evolved alongside CCE Group’s growth, reflecting the increasing importance of clarity and consistency as the group scales internationally.

The appointment comes as CCE Group continues to expand its position as a global aerospace platform with its most recent acquisition, Icebridge, happening in December 2025. In his role, Norcross will deepen his involvement at group level, working closely with the Group CEO and leadership teams to support long-term positioning and ensure alignment across communications within the portfolio.

For Lexicon, the appointment reflects its position as a specialist B2B communications partner embedded at a boardroom level. By participating in high-level strategic discussions alongside the executive leadership team, Norcross ensures that strategic intent is clearly understood and carried through into Lexicon’s marketing and communications output. This model allows Lexicon to operate as an outsourced marketing function with direct access to decision-making, strengthening alignment between strategy, execution, and business outcomes.

The role also reflects a broader shift toward fractional leadership models across professional and service-based industries, where organizations increasingly draw on senior specialist expertise without expanding permanent executive headcount. This approach allows companies to retain strategic continuity while maintaining flexibility as complexity and scale increase.

Commenting on the appointment, Klaus Hofmann, Group CEO of CCE Group, said: “Since our first meeting with David and the Lexicon team, there has been strong alignment and a shared understanding of the role communications plays as a differentiator. In niche industries, how we communicate our products, strategy, values, and ambition matters to customers, partners, and employees is of the essence. Lexicon brings clear strategic messaging and creative storytelling to that challenge. Formalizing David’s role reflects the importance we place on communications as a leadership responsibility.”

David Norcross, CEO of Lexicon, said: “I am delighted to formalize this role and build on work developed over many years. CCE Group is at a significant stage in its development, with stories spanning acquisitions, platform growth, and industry-defining product launches. With my 4-year term as a British Chamber of Commerce Board Director recently completed, I have the capacity to increase my focus at group level, allowing me to support CCE Group more directly as it continues to scale and ensuring communications keep pace with strategy and execution.”

The appointment takes effect immediately and does not affect Norcross’ day-to-day role at Lexicon. Rather, it enables a deeper strategic partnership with a long-standing client, reflecting the maturity of the relationship and the level at which Lexicon supports CCE Group.
